About Dr. Jennings-Dover

Dr. Charay Jennings-Dover was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, where she attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC).

She earned her medical degree and Ph.D. in Immunology from Stanford University School of Medicine. There, she also pursued an Anatomic Pathology residency and fellowships in Surgical Pathology and Dermatopathology.

Throughout her time at Stanford, she was involved in extensive research surrounding pediatric melanoma.

Following her studies, Dr. Jennings-Dover joined a private pathology group, supporting the dermatopathology service of the practice and community hospitals. During her time with the practice she also provided academic guidance to Teaching Assistants and medical residents of the area.

As a professional in her field, Dr. Jennings-Dover greatly enjoys the science behind her work. She is inspired by the collaboration and contributions that allow her and her team to accomplish a common goal, to take care of patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Jennings-Dover enjoys spending time with her children, attending her daughter’s volleyball games and playing video games with her son. She also likes to practice weight lifting and watch movies.
