Employee Spotlight: Stephanie Ayodele

Consistency, commitment and determination go a long way in the workplace – even more so when you are attending school full-time as well.

Stephanie Ayodele knows the talk and the walk.

Stephanie was nominated by her peers for our Employee Spotlight, being a reliable member of the SkinPath family since she started back in June of 2018. Her colleagues cite her work ethic, willingness to help others and her positive energy as reasons they love having her as a teammate.

Born in Georgia and of Nigerian descent, Stephanie grew up in a loving, busy household with her parents and three sisters. Stephanie’s passion for healthcare extends beyond the lab, recently graduating with her Master of Science from Georgia State University with a concentration in cellular and molecular biology and physiology in December. She is currently studying for the MCAT and preparing for medical school with plans to become a pediatrician.

Q & A

Q: What is the best trip you’ve ever taken and where did you go?

Stephanie: Dubai with my family. It was a journey getting there, but we experienced a different culture and a lot of things together as a family. We also went shopping for some great jewelry – a personal favorite of mine.

Q: If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?
S: The superpower of clarity – or hindsight. I don’t have an exact word for it, but I would like the ability to fix things or a problem.

Q: What’s one hobby you would love to get into?
S: I like to decorate, so I would like to customize decorations and make things you cannot buy.

Q: Who has influenced you most when it comes to how you approach your work?
S: My parents. They worked multiple jobs and all types of shifts when I was little to make it work for us. They are such a great team and never showed how tired they were to give us the best life possible, all while still making time for each other.

Q: Early bird or night owl?
S: Night owl. It doesn’t help waking up at 4 a.m. for work!

Q: What advice would you give your teenage self?
S: Don’t rush through life. It’s okay to take time and enjoy the process of growing up.

Q: What’s your go-to karaoke song?
S: Anything by Davido!

Thank you, Stephanie, for your hard work, positive energy and contributions you bring daily to the SkinPath family!
